Social Responsibility Policy
As Konfor Furniture, we aim to conduct our activities in line with the requirements of the era, honesty, and trust in collaboration with our employees, customers, and suppliers. With a sense of community, we present our company policy to all our business partners at our production facility, first and foremost by working in accordance with our laws, our customers' production procedures, and social standards, and inviting them to join this understanding.
The Social Responsibility Policy includes the criteria outlined below:
PREVENTION OF CHILD LABOR: The working age is as defined by the laws, and the employment of child labor is not permitted and not supported.
PREVENTION OF FORCED AND COMPULSORY LABOR: The company does not employ its employees under any pressure. All employees are employed under equal conditions in suitable positions with their consent.
PROVIDING OCCUPATIONAL HEALTH AND SAFETY: For the health and safety of all employees, legal requirements are fulfilled, necessary measures are taken to prevent all health and safety risks for personnel, and development is supported through training opportunities to ensure occupational health and safety.
The working environment of our employees is equipped with sufficient equipment, and every opportunity is provided for them to meet their basic needs in hygienic conditions.
RESPECT FOR EMPLOYEE REPRESENTATION AND THE RIGHT TO ELECT AND BE ELECTED: All employees have the right to participate in employee representation, elect employee representatives, or be elected as employee representatives.
PREVENTION OF DISCRIMINATION: Employees have the freedom of thought and belief, and no discrimination is applied on issues such as language, religion, race, gender, social class, age, and union membership.
DETERMINATION OF WORKING HOURS: Working hours are regulated in accordance with the laws, and overtime is not worked regularly, with employees given one day off each week.
WAGES AND PAYMENTS: The wage policy is evaluated according to the knowledge and skills of our employees, and payments are not made below the minimum wage.
RECEIVING AND HANDLING COMPLAINTS: Employees report their requests and complaints to the management through employee representatives, and the resolutions of these issues are analyzed by the management and concluded.
PREVENTION OF DISCIPLINE, ILL-TREATMENT, AND HARASSMENT: None of our employees are disciplined by physical or financial disciplinary rules; the development of our employees is achieved through training and instructions.
RELATIONSHIPS WITH SUPPLIERS: The evaluation of the Social Compliance activities of the supplier companies it works with, to monitor the evaluation results with an action plan and to gradually raise the level of Social Compliance is aimed.
TAKING SAFETY MEASURES: To ensure that there are no unreported goods (narcotics, explosives, biological substances, and illegal goods) that would violate the safety in the loading, to comply with the current Environmental Legislation and to prevent environmental pollution from the source;
PREVENTION OF ENVIRONMENTAL POLLUTION: Comply with the current Environmental Legislation, prevent environmental pollution based on the dimensions and impact assessment of the environment and reduce pollution from the source;
MANAGEMENT SYSTEM: Commitment to maintain and continually improve the Sustainability, Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Management activities under a management system framework in compliance with the existing laws and regulations, Customer Behavior Rules and voluntarily BSCI+SEDEX Principles Management System Standard and commitment to improve it.

Quality Policy With regard to the design and production of furniture products (bedroom, dining room, living room, youth room, table, and individual products) such as sofas, couches, sitting groups, beds, bases, headboards, and panel furniture products, we aim to create a culture that exhibits Quality performance at National and International standards considering the Sustainable Development goals and principles at Konfor Mobilya.
